City College Brighton

Profile

Welcome to the City College! As a student-centred college, we are very keen to respond to your requests for information, advice and guidance. Students come to City College on a full-time basis to continue their vocational or higher education. They also come to do part-time or short courses to build on their existing skills or qualifications or perhaps just to learn a new skill and meet new friends. You may have already heard that when Ofsted visited the College, we were praised as “outstanding” by the inspection team and our success rates put us in the Top 10 highest achieving Colleges in the country.

Our modern and diverse facilities mean that we attract around 9,000 students each year, making City College a great place to study. Our courses focus on preparing you for work and we have excellent links with over 600 employers in the Brighton area. We attract a diverse student population that reflects our local community, as well as enabling us to welcome students from across the UK and overseas. This community spirit has become a part of our ethos. Everyone who visits the college says that the College is extremely welcoming and that students and visitors always meet with friendly attitudes and support.
